I just season it like I would if I was cooking chicken….the only difference is butter it first, then rub the seasonings all over instead of just shaking them on. Here’s the seasonings I use"

Lawry’s Seasoning salt
pepper
a little Accent

I’ve never had any problems with it not browning.

I use butter, Mrs. Dash original and turkey/chicken broth. I also start out cooking with an aluminum foil tent over. Removing it when the turkey is just about done. Always golden and delicious!

BEER CAN TURKEY OR CHICKEN (if this is not the most moist bird EVER, you can personally slap me!)

Get a can of beer, pour 1/3 of it into a small bowl for basting.

Fill rest of the can with lots and lots of spices!

Fill the other 1/3 beer in a bowl with lots of spices.

Shove the beer can and spices inside the cavity of the turkey or chicken.

make the bird "stand up" so that the can is upright as it would normally sit. Cook as normal.

The juice slowly evaporates into the bird and this NEVER gets dry. We could NOT believe how good this dumb recipe was! Use the other 1/3 beer and spices to occasionally baste.

Prepare to get compliments.
