i agree with … i agree with PommeFrite, but do not write off tinned sardines. They are delicious and economical to eat.

I’m afraid that … I’m afraid that canned sardines are not good for cooking like this. If you cannot find fresh sardines, mackerel may be used instead. For mackerel, maybe less garlic.
