it really doesnt tell you how much to put but miss emma thanks for posting that ingredient for this hopefully delicous chocolate cake.and one question.why do you put coffee in a chocolate cake?i mean like its suppose to be called coffe/chocolate cake right no offense

I am norwegian, I can tell you this:
150 grams butter
300 gr sugar
250 gr flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 pl chocolate
3 eggs
2.5 cup strong coffee
grated peel of one orange
Fill:
125 gr butter
200 gr icing sugar
1 egg yolk
orange juice
cocoa
The cake looks really good. But once you have incorporated all the eggs you should fold in the flour otherwise you beat the air out of the cake.

lol..it’s yolks..and i don’t think u can..um..cake is very sensitive..i don’t think u can substitute or leave out an ingredient :]..nywayz.. thiz is just a suggestion..lolz..its up to yhu :]

Note: To make the chocolate icing, these ingredients are to be used in ADDITION to the ingredients for regular vanilla icing, which I posted 2 months earlier.
A few months back, I wrote that I would not chance eating cake icing which was made with raw egg. Then, I wrote out how to make a vanilla icing to go over the cake. If you prefer a chocolate icing, simply melt the butter instead of creaming it, and add 4 ounces of Baker’s unsweetened chocolate (melted and cooled) or 1/3-1/2 cup of cocoa powder.
