Do You Have Any Tips For Baking At High Altitude?

I lived in South Lake Tahoe for a while. Lake level is about 6000 feet. I found that cooking at a slightly lower temperature for a longer period of time works best. For example, 325 degrees for 4 hours for a roast instead of 350 degrees for 3 hours. Due to personal preferences, you will just have to experiment and document and save your results for future reference! BON APPITITE!

The higher the altitude the lower the temp.

we live at 6000+ and i’ve really never noticed much of a difference except needing to add more liquid sometimes, although that could be more b/c of our dry climate.
i’d say set your timer on the minimum suggested, and check it a few minutes before just to make sure.
