Can mangoes be put in water to prevent mold forming on them?
I have some mangoes that have been cut in complex star-shapes as art, and I was wondering if I could store them just by putting them in a vase of water. I just need them to be mould-free for 5 days, I don't mind the taste or anything else.
No you will rot them! You can store them in the fridge but wrap them first in cling film-or put them in tupperware and cover them-You can eat them when stored in this way
